Forrest Braden is the owner and operator of True North Sport Fishing. He grew up fishing the bays, beaches, and offshore waters of Southern California and began his fishing career at the age of 15 on the sport fishing boats out of San Diego Bay, fishing for tuna and other offshore species.

His professional experience includes 8 years on overnight and long range deep sea fishing boats out of San Diego followed by an additional 15 years on Alaska waters.

Forrest is working toward a business degree from Brigham Young University in Utah where he currently winters with his wife and seven children. In addition to schooling he enjoys spending quality family time, probing local waters for bass and trout, learning guitar, and serving in his church.
